Theater J’s Community Access ticket program allows DC, Maryland, and Virginia EBT cardholders to purchase tickets to any performance for $5 per person!
EBT cards are issues to individuals who qualify for state-administered benefits programs such as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), and assistance for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).
If you can share documents showing that you receive benefits through one of these programs, you are eligible to purchase Community Access tickets.
If your card is in a child/parent/spouse’s name, you may use a government record listing you as in the same household instead of a photo ID to purchase Community Access tickets.
Yes, if you hold an EBT card from another state or territory, you are eligible for this program.
