About Theater J Musical Theater Camps
Leap into the magic of musical theater this summer. Young artists in grades 2–9 will spend the day singing, dancing, acting, and learning the history of musical theater in America. Each session will culminate with a performance for families and friends, followed by a celebration. There’s no place like Theater J!

Three Week Camp: The Wizard of Oz Youth Edition
Rising 2nd Graders – Rising 9th Graders July 1–July 17, 2025 | 9:00 AM–3:00 PM M-F
Final show and celebration: Thursday, July 17, 7:00 PM
No camp on Friday, July 18
Follow the yellow brick road! L. Frank Baum’s enchanting story takes us over the rainbow and into the land of Oz, where Dorothy must defeat the Wicked Witch in order to get home to Kansas. This program is ideal for young artists who want to dive into the world of musical theater and experience the magic of being in a fully produced show with lights and costumes. No experience necessary!
