With the help of his high school crush, he embarks on a journey to uncover the mysterious letter’s author, his grandfather’s hidden past, and ultimately his own identity.

Jeremy Borison is a filmmaker based in Los Angeles, whose work explores the intersection of religion and sexuality. He has been selected for various initiatives that explore art and religion, as an Asylum Arts Fellow, a writer for Imagination Productions, a Wexner Heritage fellow, and a Filmmaker in Residence for the Jewish Film Institute. Jeremy’s films have received grants from organizations including Micah Philanthropies, Aviv Foundation, and Jewish Story Partners, for their efforts in creating discourse around LGBTQ inclusion in religious communities. His debut feature film Unspoken, which follows a closeted teenager in areligious community, premiered at the British Film Institute’s Flare Film Festival, and recently received the audience award for Best Narrative Film at the Los Angeles Jewish Film Festival. He is currently working on a documentary about the lawsuit between Yeshiva University and its Pride Alliance, regarding the Orthodox institution’s rejection of an LGTBQ club on campus.

David Lloyd Olson (he/him) is an arts administrator, theatrical producer, and new father who works at the Edlavitch DCJCC as managing director at Theater J, the US’s largest Jewish theater. He serves on the board of the Alliance for Jewish Theatre and Adas Israel Congregation where he is co-chair of the Ga’avah LGBTQIA+ affinity group. Prior to joining Theater J he was managing director of Quintessence Theatre Group in Philadelphia and manager of the executive office and board engagement at the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, DC. He was an Allen Lee Hughes management fellow at Arena Stage and served as a Fulbright English teaching assistant in Valmiera, Latvia. He has twice been the recipient of a DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities fellowship program grant and was on the host committee of the 2016Theatre Communications Group national conference. He holds a degree in Theatre and a degree in government and politics from the University of Maryland, College Park. He is also a graduate of the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta’s Zaban Preschool.
