Join the Youth Action Institute for an afternoon of volunteering at Lutheran Social Services with our partners at Our Lady Victory School. Volunteers will help LSS sort through and stock donations at their resource center while also making new connections with other teens. This project is eligible for 2 SSL hours.

Join the Youth Action Institute and students from Our Lady Victory School for an afternoon of volunteering at Lutheran Social Services (LSS). LSS provides a wide range of services to refugees, youth in foster care, and other vulnerable populations. We will help sort through and stock donations at the LSS Resource Center for their clients while also making connections with teens from Our Lady Victory.

This project is open to teens ages 11-18, and participants will earn 2 SSL hours. Transportation will be provided to the LSS Resource Center from the JCC. Please arrive to the JCC by 1:30 PM so we have adequate time to get to the volunteer location. If you have any questions, please contact Lyssa at ajellenik@edcjcc.org.
