EDCJCC Preschool parents are invited to an engaging and meaningful book club about The Amen Effect, a powerful book that speaks to the challenges of loneliness and isolation in today’s world. Free to attend and the book is provided.
Join us for an engaging and meaningful book club experience designed just for EDCJCC Preschool parents! Led by Rabbi Atara, our Director of Jewish Life and Learning, we’ll explore The Amen Effect by Rabbi Sharon Brous, a powerful book that speaks to the challenges of loneliness and isolation in today’s world. In this book, Rabbi Brous reminds us of the importance of coming together celebrating, supporting, and growing with one another in times of both joy and hardship. As preschool parents, we know the power of community and the value of connection. The Amen Effect shows us how we can build a community of care, sharing moments of vulnerability, hope, and purpose.
This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other parents, learn together, and reflect on how we can create a more supportive world for our families. This book club will be held at the EDCJCC on Wednesday evenings, February 12–March 5. Free to attend, but registration is required. A copy of the book is included in registration. Please reach out to Rabbi Atara at acohen@edcjcc.org with any questions.
