Jews have seen many heartbreaking events through history and have accumulated so many varied and even contradictory potential responses to hardship. How can our traditions of Jewish wisdom help us face our current tragic times? Join the EntryPointDC community and Director of Jewish Life Rabbi Atara at her home in Logan Circle for a series of discussions jumping off traditional Jewish texts with the warmth of homemade soup and mugs of tea. Folks of all Jewish learning backgrounds welcome, from total beginners to seasoned scholars. Each of the four standalone sessions will focus on a different theme. We encourage participants to commit to at least 3 sessions to build a cohort experience but drop ins are welcome. Please pay careful attention to the session dates when enrolling.
