Guided by a professional art educator, we’ll explore the artistic themes of the Phillips Collection’s exhibit Breaking It Down: Conversations from the Vault, with a focus on Paul Klee’s artwork with music through fun, hands-on activities.
Join JFamily for an art experience at the Phillips Collection! Guided by a professional art educator, we'll explore Breaking It Down: Conversations from the Vault, with a focus on Paul Klee's artwork with music, through fun, hands-on activities. In addition, families may enjoy the carpeted, creative-play area with blocks, books, toys, and games. Families can then head upstairs to see the exhibition on their own. This event is designed for families with children ages 0 to 6.
$10 per adult, free for children. Free for one Phillips Collection adult member. Due to space constraints, registration is required. Please register by Sunday, January 5, at 5:00 PM.
The Phillips Collection, founded in 1921, is America’s first museum of modern art. In collaboration with JFamily, a program by the Edlavitch DCJCC and the Pozez JCC of Northern Virginia in partnership with PJ Library, which provide inclusive Jewish family experiences for families with children under 6 years old.
