Join us at the EDCJCC for wine, conversation, and collective brainstorming on what it could look like to prioritize the mental health of parents. In small group conversations, we’ll explore how can we lighten our own mental loads around parenting and what sorts of supports we might need in order to do so.

The recent Surgeon General’s Warning on parenting called for a “fundamental shift in how we value and prioritize the mental health and well-being of parents.” Join us at the EDCJCC for wine, conversation, and collective brainstorming on what that shift could look like. Max Lesko, outgoing Chief of Strategy in the office of the Surgeon General (and current EDCJCC Preschool parent), will be joined by education and mental health professionals to help us make sense of the Surgeon General’s Warning and its ramifications. In small group conversations, we’ll explore how can we lighten our own mental loads around parenting and what sorts of supports we might need in order to do so.

Please note that this program is intended for adults only. Registration is $5 per family. If you have any questions, please reach out to Miriam Szubin at mszubin@edcjcc.org.
