In this program for children and their adults, we will learn the story of the Maccabees who made the best of a hard situation and think about ways we can find light in darkness.

Sometimes things don’t go the way we planned, but that doesn’t mean that everything is bad. We will learn the story of the Maccabees who made the best of a hard situation and think about ways we can find light in darkness.

Children in kindergarten through third grade and their adults are invited to use all their senses to engage with Jewish holidays and traditions in this joyful monthly series led by Rabbi Atara Cohen, Director of Jewish Life and Learning at the EDCJCC.
