This class will be studying haftarot, the readings from Prophets that accompany the weekly Torah readings. We will look at an overview of the Prophetic book that the haftarah comes from (e.g., Samuel, Kings, Isaiah, Micah, Jeremiah), the text itself with commentaries, and its connections to each week’s Torah readings.
