Teen Excursion Camp 

Entering Grades 7 - 9

Sesion 1: June 25 - July 6

Virginia Beach and Philadelphia

Week 1 – Let’s start summer with a trip to the beach. Campers will travel to Virginia Beach with awesome stops along the way. Campers will enjoy Busch Gardens, Water Country USA and the sandy shores on this week long adventure.

Week 2 – Celebrate July 4th where it all happened in Philadelphia. Enjoy a week filled with fun, excitement, and rich history. Campers will enjoy Hershey Park, historic sites in Philadelphia, and the countryside of Pennsylvania.


Session 2: July 9 - July 20

West Virginia and Jersey Shore

Week 3 – Let’s go on an outdoor adventure in West Virginia. Campers will experience nature in our mountainous neighbor state. Campers will go hiking, rafting, and tubing in this week of surprises.

Week 4 – Back to the beach! This time we are going to the Jersey shore. Campers will travel north, while stopping along the way to experience fun sights and attractions

Drobots Camp 

Entering Grades 1 - 8

Session Dates: 

Session 1: July 9 - July 13 (1st - 5th graders)

Session 2: July 23 - July 27 (1st - 2nd graders, 6th - 8th graders)


Spend a week exploring drones! Campers will navigate obstacles; zoom through tunnels to conquer creative drone challenges, missions, and games.

Travel Camp 

Entering Grades 5 - 7

Session Dates: June 25 - June 29

Travel camp is an awesome mix of adventure, memories, and friends. Campers will spend each day at a different site throughout the DC Maryland and Virginia area exploring a wide variety of places and activities. Trips include amusement parks, historical sites, outdoor adventure and recreation, and much more!

Theater Camp  

Entering Grades 1–6

Session Dates:

August 6 - August 17

Under the direction and guidance of professional teaching artists from Imagination Stage, campers learn the “nuts and bolts” of developing a story, creating characters, and putting on a play from “page to stage.” Camp days are filled with fun, active, educational experiences in creative drama, music, movement, and visual arts/production, along with rehearsals for an original musical production. This camp also develops important life-long learning skills such as teamwork, active listening, creativity, spontaneity, and risk-taking. At the end of the two weeks, campers will produce and perform a show for family and friends.

Outdoor Adventure Camp  

Entering Grades 3–6

Session Dates:
Outdoor Adventure 1: July 16 - July 20 

Campers stretch their legs outside the beltway to enjoy many of the different outdoor activities that the region has to offer. Campers will hike in the Shenandoah National Forest, learn map and compass skills,, canoe or raft in some of our local scenic rivers, visit natural springs and watering holes, and spend the night outdoors camping. Have a great time learning about the outdoors while they are experiencing it! 

Junior Adventure Camp  

Entering Grades 1–2

Session Dates:
August July 23 - July 27

Our Jr. Adventure Camp takes some of the highlights from our program for older campers and makes them accessible to our younger campers. Campers may go hiking at Great Falls, climbing at a local rock gym, tubing down a local river and more. (Please note that the younger campers do not do an overnight trip.)

Advanced Outdoor Adventure Camp 

Entering Grades 5–7

Session Dates:
July 9 - July 13

For advanced outdoor adventurers who enjoy hiking, canoeing, and getting to learn about the outdoors while experiencing it!


Teva Camp 

Entering Grades: 3 - 5

Session Dates: July 30 - August 3

Campers will spend a week at Rock Creek Park exploring the world outside and the role that humans play in both enjoying and protecting our natural environment. Drawing on Jewish values that compel us to take care of all living things, our environmental education specialists will provide the children with hands- on opportunities to gain wilderness skills in orienteering, hiking, shelter building, identifying plants and animals, and more!
