Positions Available 

Senior Counselors (must be 18 by the start of camp)
Junior Counselors (must be 16 by the start of camp)
Office Assistant (must be 16 by the start of camp)
Specialist (must be 18 by the start of camp)
     Staff Specialists include: Art Specialist, Sports Specialist, Music Specialist, Swimming Specialist, and Dance Specialist

Camp Information 

We offer camps for eleven weeks for campers entering PreK–Grade 10.  Staff training begins the first week of camp (during Pre-Summer, or Summer Fun 1)

Ruach (Spirit) Camps (rising K–6th graders)

Specialty Camps (rising 1st–6th graders)

Teen Camps (rising 7th–12th graders)

Please notify staff at interview if there are any dates when you will not be available.  We require a minimum four-week commitment.


  • The camp day is 8:30 am—4:00 pm.  Staff meetings are Wednesdays, 4:00—5:30 pm.  Overnights and field trips are required for all applicable camps.  (Swim specialists work Monday—Friday with varied hours, no overnights.) 
  • We offer extended day options for our campers:  Aftercare (3:30—6:00 pm) and Early Mornings (7:45—8:30 am) each day.  We need 3–4 counselors for each day, and we pay extra for these hours.  We expect that you sign up for two days of after or before care each week. 
  • Staff training is mandatory and will be held the first week of camp (exact dates and times TBD).  If there is a conflict with your school schedule, we may offer a make-up session.   
  • First Aid/CPR certification will be offered during staff training.

Application Process 

1)  Complete the online application form

2)  Find two-three references (not related to you) who will write a letter or recommendation or who agree to be called by the Camp Director

3)  If you have questions, contact the Camp Director: Greg Feitel

4)  After we receive your completed application, we will schedule an interview.  They last approximately 30–45 minutes, and you will receive a pre-interview sheet to know what to expect and what the job details are.

5)  Once we make an offer, we will let you know by phone or email, with a contract mailed shortly after.  We will need your commitment within two weeks of notification.  You will need to send back the signed contract and consent for a background check. 

  • We reserve the right to rescind offers of employment if the background check is unsatisfactory.

  • The employment process is done on a rolling basis.

 Early Drop-off without charge 8:30–9:00 am
 Camp Day 9:00 am–3:30 pm
 Aftercare  3:30–6:00 pm
